Josh was in his office drinking coffee, looking at the poll numbers for Senate races in Pennsylvania, Montana and Ohio, and whistling a jaunty--and tone-deaf--tune.

He would be more than happy to bore the pants off of anyone wanting to stop by.

Which was he wasn't trying to balance a pencil on his nose, and was doing the New York Times crossword puzzle instead.

It would be completely filled in by the end of the day come hell, high water, or just sticking in random letters.
